Hi, and welcome to my portfolio! Let me introduce you to well...myself, Jennifer Harold-DeShields. I am a storyteller, born and raised in New Rochelle, New York.  I attended Historically Black University, Delaware State University where my curiosity in creativity, production and writing immensely grew.

 

With over 14 years of experience, I have been committed to my passion for Television, content creation and pop culture. I started my career at 20th Century Fox Films in box office distribution in New York City. I had dreams of expanding my career which led me to become an Executive Assistant at Viacom in Integrated Marketing. While working in marketing and sales, I gained tremendous knowledge on how pivotal selling content through brand partnerships and integrations is to the creative side. As an EA for four years, I realized my creativity and passion for storytelling was not being fulfilled.

 

Taking a leap of faith, I started my career over at 32 years old becoming a Production Assistant for VH1 and MTV. As digital and social media content became more popular, I worked on the Wild’ N Out YouTube page, earning millions of views. It was a thrilling experience to be at the forefront of digital and social programming. 

 

In the height of Covid, my family and I moved to Los Angeles. I worked as an Associate Producer for the 50th anniversary season of The Price is Right and went on to become a Producer of Digital Video with E! News.

 

I am self-directed and versatile with a track record of delivering results for entertainment and lifestyle programming. My expertise and commitment will make me a great fit for any organization.
